FLAC: Pink Floyd live in Tampa 1973 - 1CD - June 29

Pink Floyd - Mega-rare restored LP "Tampa (CBM)" - Tampa Stadium 1973-06-29 AUD - a great in-your-face Dark Side! - speed-corrected and rejoined

Wow, what a great show! From probably the best "On The Run" this guy has ever heard (they were actually playing this folks, not like the more recent canned versions) to a long, languid "Any Colour You Like"... the guys were really into it. The recording is a rabid, in your face rendition that is hot, hot, hot! Listen to the sample. If you are curious about the evolution of Dark Side Of The Moon, you should know that the album was developed on the road. The band went into the studio to record the LP, then took it out on the road and continued to develop it further. Out of maybe four generations, going like this:

Pre LP (Rainbow Theatre 1972)
LP release
Wembly 1974
Ivor Wynne 1975

this performance would fall right after the LP in terms of development. It's sort of like a hyped-up more active and involved version than the LP was, but is still fairly close to the LP performance.

Continuing with CBM releases, not much was done to this one aside from small speed-correction. My copy is a first pressing on King Kong Records.
