Location: Opposite end of the arena, DFC, Front Row. This was directly behind the soundboard area, which took up a large area of the floor section. There is a conspicuous lack of crowd noise during this recording .... there wasn't anyone on the floor under my mikes, and the crowd around us was pretty quiet.

Notes:
Very few audience whistles were present in both sources suggesting that the two tapers were quite a distance apart.
Sound effects bounce between the channels during Learning To Fly.
Two different clock chimes heard at the beginning of Time, one in each channel.
Some On The Run sound effects travel from one channel to the other.
Interesting improv during instrumental section of Welcome To The Machine.
Bass solo during Money.
Bass lead during One Slip.
2CD Burn option: CD 1: Tracks 1-12, CD 2: Tracks 13-24

Taper 1 Notes:
Excellent sounding upfront recording despite a fair number of flaws. At the beginning of each set the microphones were being positioned during the first minute of each song. There was some static, channel dropouts and microphone bumps during this that I tried to fix. Money had a 1 sec dropout that was removed. A few other smaller dropouts were removed as well. Overall a very good sounding recording. I lost my previous transfer (from 2004) in a HD crash. I did the transfer from my friend's pcm as well in 1995.
